Students from Kolbe Catholic College Rockingham this week continued an Ash Wednesday tradition of the school.
House Captains from the school were the ones who respectfully distributed the ashes to the staff and students.
The Ash Wednesday liturgy included Year 12 student leaders celebrating Mass in the chapel with Fr Pier from OLOL Parish, prior to joining the rest of the college community.
Year 9 student leaders also led the school community in prayer during the Mass – paying particular attention to the work of Caritas Australia and the 2015 Project Compassion appeal.
