The Parishes of Harvey and Brunswick recently helped Fr Noel Fitzsimons celebrate his 60th anniversary of priestly ordination.
Bishop of Bunbury Gerard Holohan celebrated Mass which was followed by celebration at the Kinsella Parish Centre with more than 300 family and friends from across the state.
In his speech for the occasion, Fr Noel thanked the parishes of Harvey and Brunswick parishes for a super demonstration of country hospitality.
“The mood of the celebration was wonderful; the hall looked magnificent, the food delicious and abundant,” Fr Noel said.
“City visitors were flabbergasted at the way the celebration was organised and ran so well, and I was overwhelmed at the attendance and the generosity of my visitors,” he said.
